Having earned fans and accolades aplenty fronting London indie rockers Bloc Party KELE Okereke announced he had even more to offer fans via his debut solo outing: The Boxer.

KELE throwing off any indie rock shackles and embracing a whole new sonic direction. Now KELE is set to return to Australia. ‘Australia is my favourite place to play’ he insisted. ‘Australians are the most open and warm and fun people I’ve ever met. It was originally my idea to do the first solo shows in Australia, because we always have such a good time down there. I didn’t realise this at the time, but that’s what this record feels like to me: a rebirth.’

Supporting KELE will be Melbourne’s newest addition to the indie-electronia forefront STRANGE TALK. With his newfound directness and energy for the dancefloor, it is no wonder KELE is one of our most popular musical visitors. Welcome back Kele!
