Peter Rauhofer to play at Homesexual Arabian Nights 2012

During Mardi Gras 2012, the biggest closing event is always Homesexual, set on the Sunday night right on the harbour at Australia’s biggest superclub Home.

We’re so excited to confirm the first of our international DJ’s. PETER RAUHOFER, who’ll be jetting in to spin exclusively at this eventWhen it comes to achievements within the worldwide dance music scene, Peter Rauhofer has few equals.

A lauded producer, remixer, DJ and label owner (Star 69 Records), he has spent the last twenty years establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in an industry where many merely come and go. Thanks to his Midas touch in all departments he currently represents a solid part of the city’s electronic establishment and has been recognised by the global electronic cognoscenti as a true heavyweight in his various fields.

With over 300 remixes under his belt, who else can say they’ve remixed everyone from Madonna to Depeche Mode, enjoyed a multitude of massive club and chart hits, run a world famous record label, created one of New York City’s most thrilling club nights (“WORK”), won a prestigious Grammy award (Remixer of The Year) for their studio talents plus additional 4 Grammy Nominations.

Peter has recorded material under the names Club 69 and Sizequeen and his remix credits are many and include: Depeche Mode, Madonna, Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, Seal, Funky Green Dogs, Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, and many others.

His upcoming album on Star 69 is the 4th in his highly acclaimed “I Love…” series and is entitled “I Love Paris”.
